Inspired by the works of ceramicist Carl Johan Ege Nielsen, the aluminum Ege floor lamp is sculptural, organic, and sophisticated. The fabrication process is masterful, requiring weeks of work by skilled artisans who must cast, weld, and then hand-finish each piece with painstaking precision. Finished in a warm bright bronze, the dramatic lamp flirts with flora as form. The pierced diffuser casts a beautiful shadow pattern when lit.
