Wood Half Ukhli Wheel on Stand

Ukhli were originally very large, hourglass-shaped mortars carved from fallen trees. They were the vessels into which spices, plants and other materials were ground. Our mounted Ukhli fragments exhibit decades-old aging of these wooden vessels. Mounted on iron stand. Size and look of item will vary. Some will have be solid wood and others could have a hole, but no two will be alike.
